“I HAVE HAD IT! I CANNOT TAKE THIS ITCHY FEELING ANYMORE!”
I cannot count how many times I have said this.

I was born with eczema, and back in the 70′s, when I was growing up, I was given every potion, concoction, and steroid available. Every time, I would tell the doctor that I was allergic to the “medicine”. Of course, they would disregard my feedback, and prescribe another medicine…that I would also be allergic to.

Fast forward to my young adult life, and I am now a successful Massage Therapist. Unfortunately, I still would become allergic to the products I was using with my clients. I searched, and I scoured, and I tried every product out there to find something that I didn’t react to. This was my motivation for creating SUN VALLEY REMEDIES.

After realizing that there just wasn’t anything being made that was good enough, I went to my kitchen and started cooking up some concoctions. I finalized my base recipe in 2005. My massage clientele was so impressed with the products I was using with them, that they insisted I package and sell it. AND thats how it happened! SUN VALLEY REMEDIES was born.

As a massage therapist, we have very specific requirements for the products we use. Our lotions, cremes, and oils must have the proper balance of glide, absorption rate, and traction. In addition to these properties, our products should also be made from the best and purist ingredients available. After all, people come to us to feel better…shouldn’t we use products that are good for them? THE SKIN IS OUR BODIES LARGEST ORGAN. Once we recognize this, it becomes obvious that we should use chemical-free, pesticide-free, paraben-free, formaldehyde-free, and perfume-free products. Everything we put ON our bodies goes INTO our bodies. Luckily, the final recipe was the perfect consistency to use as a daily all-over all-body moisturizer, as well as the choice for professional bodyworkers.

Now, Sun Valley Remedies organic products are the go-to moisturizers for people suffering from a variety of skin ailments…eczema, psoriasis, acne, bug bites, and dry skin. I set off on this mission/project/adventure for selfish reasons…I was fed up with being itchy. Thankfully, I had the support of my family and husband to help me get the products ready and available to humans. Cory, my husband, does all the “behind the scenes” work…such as label design, website development and maintenance, and general layouts.

Our products are still made in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we do!
